PEP725 offers a constantly growing list of observed plants—described by genus, species, and subspecies or cultivar.

Within the project, we strive to share as much information as possible regarding each observation. In many cases, the variety is not specified for the observed plant—in such instances, the observation is simply filed under genus and species; in some cases, we only know the genus.

When working with these observations, it is recommended to start with the broadest possible categories (i.e., at the genus or species level, depending on the research question) and then filter out any unwanted observations.

Note: We have not received observations for all defined plants; therefore, the last column (COUNT) shows the number of observations currently available.
